SewBaby Snap Happy Poncho Pattern - $7.95 Quantity The Snap Happy Poncho is perfect for days that start out cool and warm up! The reversible poncho is made from two layers of fabric - polar fleece or sweatshirt fleece on one side and a fashion print on the other. Unlike ponchos with no sleeves, this poncho has cuffs to prevent the poncho from twisting, but is still loose enough to keep your child frm getting too hot. And with roll-up cuffs, you can get extra use from the poncho just by adjusting the cuffs as your child grows. The poncho can be made with a petal hemline for girls or a rounded edge for boys. The three piece hood design allows for inserting bunny or bear ears for extra silliness (great for Halloween!). The Snap Happy Poncho is also great as an after bath or swimming cover-up made from stretch terry cloth. The infant pouch with elastic waist slips off easily for diaper changes or can just be unsnapped from the bottom edge. An opening for car seat straps is included in the design. Fabric Requirements and Suggestions Choose two coordinating fabrics: one for the lining and one for the outside. Knits such as polar fleece, sweatshirt fleece are best for one layer along with an interlock or jersey for the lining layer.
